In his 1609 book <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Feminine_Monarchie%2C_or_the_History_of_Bees\"><em>The Feminine Monarchie<\/em> or The Historie of Bees<\/a>, Butler detailed the Queen&#8217;s favorite mead recipe. The recipe has been adapted by several mead makers.
